Windsor Racecourse Marina

Thames Charters is proud to be based at the superb Windsor Racecourse Marina, one of the finest marinas in the UK. For easy access, our boat ‘Domani’s permanent berth is directly in front of Go-Go’s Waterside Restaurant where we highly recommend a visit, even if it’s just for another cool beer before going home.

The marina has around 150 berths for boats up to 20 meters long which are serviced with water and electricity. It’s clean, tidy and friendly, run by great staff who are only too happy to help whether you’re a berth holder or just one of the many visitors.  If you’re new to boats (or even if you are not) it’s a great place to visit with some lovely craft to dream about owning on the well stocked sales pontoon.  The marina also has a newly refurbished shower and toilet block, as well as free car parking for visitors. In addition, there are several local amenities nearby, including shops, restaurants, and bars as well as some waterfront chalets some of which can be hired through platforms such as Airbnb and Booking.com.

Windsor Racecourse Marina is an ideal base for Thames Charters and our customers with easy access to some of the most beautiful stretches of the Thames via the winding tranquility of a wildlife rich and quite narrow mill stream. From there we have easy options to go both upstream and downstream.

Downstream we cruise to the historic town of Windsor, Windsor Castle, Runnymede and beyond, while upstream we pass Oakley Court and Monkey Island on our way to Maidenhead, Clivedon, Marlow and Henley-on-Thames or Oxford.

Overall, Racecourse Marina Windsor provides an excellent location to berth our much loved 40ft motor yacht ‘Domani’.
